THE HUNGER GAMES - BIKE DESIGN STUDIES

Here is some more of my work for ‘The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes’. Since we had already established a couple of design guidelines, we wanted to see how they would work in practice. The society we wanted to portray was one that lacked resources. For our bike designs, this meant that we had to modify a conventional design and omit an important part, such as the seatpost. We knew that the bikes were not very relevant for the story, but we still invested a lot of thought into the design, because we realized that they helped us answer many questions about other props ahead of us.
