TRIBES OF EUROPA - BRACKER BAR

This is my artwork for the Netflix series Tribes of Europa. The Bracker Bar was quite challenging - we wanted a saloony feel, though 'scifi' and 'saloon' is obviously already taken by other franchises. Thanks to the strong visual concept of the Designer (Julian R. Wagner) we did end up with a satisfying rendition of 'cyber-saloon'. Lightingwise I took inspiration from Edward Hoppers Nighthawks, a favourite piece of mine. If you lean in closely you might find similarities to the barkeeper...
